Ava’s Quick-Change Trousers

Finally, I started and finished these trousers – the ones I keep going on about.

And I love them. Possibly more than anything else I have ever sewn, these teeny tiny toddler pants are even cuter than I had imagined.

I just love the splash of colour on the yoke, and the fact that they are reversible too.

I found the fabric on my first trip to Fletchers yesterday and loved the navy and red together, my favourite combo for Littles. Red polka dot. Is there anything better in this world?

They’re a little on the big side, which is just how I like clothes for Lady A, making them extra comfy and providing much needed growing room.

As soon as I finished them she was more than happy to try them on and do a little modelling.

Frankly, I’d wear these myself. I think she needs another three pairs, at least.
