30 Days of Autumn

Have I mentioned how much I love autumn? And yesterday, I decided, autumn has finally arrived. Regardless of the heat, the humidity, the bright sun, it is most definitely here. There is that indefinable fall feeling in the air that makes me want to dig my fingers into the soil, wrap myself up in scarves and sit in the park all day.

Really, I don’t think my autumn infatuation needs explaining. But throughout my life, Important Things have happened in September and October. The beginnings of things and the ends of things. And in the last few years, that includes our autumn wedding and our autumn baby arriving.

So this year, with my autumn haired Little turning 1 soon, I thought it might be nice to try and record autumn…a personal and, okay, whimsical photography project over 30 autumn days.

Sometimes with words, sometimes not. Today, below, the first.

Happy Autumn to you all.
